We don’t attend the church, we are the church. We believe we are called to be in personal relationship with God and one another. In Jesus we find redemption, experience healing and discover God’s purpose for our life... and we do it together.

Make a difference

Your generosity in supporting the ministry of Grace creates opportunities for people to experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus and one another.  There is no greater impact we could make together!

In addition to your regular giving, we encourage you to consider making a difference through special gifts for missions.

Local & Global Focus

Help us expand the reach of our local church to bless our communities, help the poor, share the gospel and send out missionaries. Designate your gift for “Global Focus”. Give a one-time gift or join the many who prefer to give a regular weekly or monthly amount – no amount is insignificant! (Examples: $10/week = $520/year, $100/mth = $1200/year, etc…)

Sponsorships

Through a special partnership in Uganda, we help children rise above poverty and hear the gospel by sponsoring children in the slums of Kampala to attend Christian school.  For more information on child sponsorships, visit SMPI HERE: smpionline.org

Why we give

Giving is one of the central themes in the Bible and is an important part of our regular worship to the Lord. Jesus talked more about this subject than Heaven, Hell or prayer. To understand what it means to be a Christ-follower, we must also understand what it means to be a giver.

1. First Things First

The first of everything belongs to God. We find this principle all through God’s Word. Tithing, giving God the first ten percent of our income, is the primary way we acknowledge that God is first. (Proverbs 3:9,10).

2. Know Giving, Know Life

Giving is the antidote for materialism. Whereas the tithe is giving ten percent of your income to the local church, an offering is given out of the ninety percent of your income. Therefore the offering is giving over and above the tithe. The Bible says that by giving generously we are able to “take hold of the life that is truly life.” You aren’t really living unless you are freely giving. (1 Timothy 6:18,19).

3. The Treasure Test

Giving is the only area in the Bible where God invites us to test Him. Give your tithe (the first 10% of your income) to God and see if He does not open the floodgates of heaven to bless you in ways that you never dreamed possible. (Malachi 3:10).

4. An Eternal Investment

Even when the stock market’s down, you can make an investment that pays dividends for a lifetime and beyond. By investing in the life-changing message of Jesus, you can leverage your money for eternal purposes. (1 Timothy 6:7).

4. Stock and Securities

Donating stocks or mutual funds is the most effective way to maximize your tax savings. When transferring shares directly to a registered charity, such as Grace Christian Fellowship, the capital gains do not need to be reported as income and are therefore not taxable. In addition, a donation receipt will be issued for the full value of the shares at the time of transfer.

  1. Contact your Financial Advisor to advise them of the transfer
  2. Get the appropriate broker account info (Grace uses Oakleaf Financial) by contacting the grace office (269-651-1991 or [email protected])
  3. Upon receipt of the shares, the broker will redeem the shares and provide a donation receipt for the value at the time of transfer
  4. This can be an efficient way to give your yearly tithe.
